Ram Gopal Varma’s latest action-packed installment Dhahanam starts with the assassination of Sri Ramulu, a communist labourer that causes a stir. Sri Ramulu’s oldest son, Hari, is a Naxalite rebel operating from the forest using guerrilla warfare against the landlords, and the news of his father’s death infuriates him.
